Well, i may figured out one of the things that may be holding me back. When i change the voltage to 1.85 in the bios and restart, it still boots as 1.75(default). Any ideas as to why this might be happening? Also, which jumper setting should i have for the 'rom' jumper and which way should i have it for the vdimm. For the vdimm, i have the one on the left in the down position, and the one on the right in the up position. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

It sounds like your jumper settings for the voltage on the motherboard itself are set at 1.75.... Check out the manual and set voltage jumpers on the motherboard to default so you can change the voltage through the bios...
