Running two memsticks both diff timings?

i was wondering if that would screw up anything?

It should run ok, but your results will be limited by the slower stick.
There are some problems with compatibilty though- some ram does not work, or work well, in some motherboards, etc, so it is possible that the two sticks won't get along together at all.


NOTE that while it is unlikely that anything will be damaged by using two different speed sticks of ram, it IS possible! If you are really worried about it you should look up the specs on both, and make sure the mobo maker has no issues with either as well.....but if it were me, I'd toss 'em in and see if it boots

Thanx but there not diff speeds. Both PC3200 just diff timings i think and both 256 mb Geil PC3200 just one is 6 2 2 2.5 and one is 6 3 3 2?

is 2,3,3,2t timing good? i see almost everyone with like 6,3,3,2 or something...
