Windows 2K scrolls up??

I am using Windows 2000 (Ser. pack 3), but lately in Explorer and in programs like Nero and others I can scroll the scroll bar down and just seconds later it jumps back up. It is extremely annoying! Especially when trying to re-name items or read longer filenames.

Anyone have a clue what can cause this? I've never had this happen before and I've been using 2K since it came out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i have no clue i have that problem everyonce and a short while it rarely happens what type of mouse do you have it has happend to me and my 2 logitech mouses 1 was a logitech cheap cordless and the other is a mx700 i dont know if it is just windows or the logitech mice but its annoying
