Big Problems!! Please Help!!

Okay,

I just got my epox 8rda+ mobo today.

I plugged in my 1800+ and my new corsair xms pc3200 memory.

Plugged in my video card.

and NOTHING!! I got power but the monitor doesn't come on r anything.

The motherboard just shows FF on the display.

I put a different video card in and still nothing so it isn't the video card.

Am i missing something here or is my ram, chip, or mobo screwed up.


I'M DESPERATE!!

I got a FF on my EpOx board and it was dead...i don't know if yours is the same...

is your speaker plugged in? do you get the beeps?

Try removing the motherboard from the case and running it on a bit of cardboard. It could be a grounding issue on a standoff, its quite common and if it runs out of the case its quite easy to verify.

i didn't think epox boards had too much of an issue with grounding...i know i tested mine outside the case and it didn't work for me...I hope that is your issue bra...easy fix...toss on the grommets that came with your case

Took it out of the case and still nothing

I am getting ****ed. I even plugged my other 900mhz t-bird and nothing.

I think I got a dud.

Screw epox! They just got on my bad side.

Any other thoughts?? Or is it time to return it.

If so, which motherboard would you recommend? I like all of the frills on the epox.
