Whats the point of making them if you need to overclock to use them or are they going to be making faster mobos?

you only need to overclock an amd machine to use the bandwidth, p4s work a little different so you can run async with much improved results

are there ever going to be any amd mobos that are compatible with pc3500 & pc3700 w/o overclocking?

Doesnt the bios on the amd mobos detect the pc3500, and pc3700 and lets you adjust the settings
