Any SATA HDs for sale yet?

Yeah the seagate's SATA is out here in Canada from my local computer store. Though the price difference is way too much to bother gettnig it for me. Also I rather wait for a 8MB version than the current 2MB versions.

yeah a bit high for 2mb. don't forget its a "new" technogly. IDE prices will drop like cannon balls

Too bad they don't make a 40 gig drive. I wouldn't mind getting 2 for SATA raid.

Well, how does a normal RAID perform if you get 2 7200rpm 8MB cache drives at ATA/100?

Yes I do not mean to promote any sales of mine but Seagate and WD Sertial ata drives are out. I am selling WD Raptor drives which are essentially SCSI drives with Serial ATA interfaces- the fastest non scsi in the land
