Yeah the seagate's SATA is out here in Canada from my local computer store. Though the price difference is way too much to bother gettnig it for me. Also I rather wait for a 8MB version than the current 2MB versions.

80GB SEAGATE ST380021A BARRACUDA IV 7200RPM 9.5MS ATA100 $147.99
80GB SEAGATE ST380023AS BARRACUDA V 7200RPM 9MS SERIAL ATA $209.99

120GB SEAGATE ST3120023A BARRACUDA IV 7200RPM 9.5MS ATA100 $225.99
120GB SEAGATE ST3120023AS BARRACUDA V 7200RPM 9MS SERIAL ATA $299.99

Well, how does a normal RAID perform if you get 2 7200rpm 8MB cache drives at ATA/100?

How does a SATA drive perform on an OC'd bus?
Thats what I want to know before I buy one :D

Yes I do not mean to promote any sales of mine but Seagate and WD Sertial ata drives are out. I am selling WD Raptor drives which are essentially SCSI drives with Serial ATA interfaces- the fastest non scsi in the land :)
