Circuitcity is still selling the 9700 PRO for $299.99 and BestBuy and CompUSA still want $399.99 for them. Thats not a bad deal at all. There still more than that on newegg :)

It looks to me like 300 is going to become a standard price for these :) Still a great deal though.

Bestbuy does do the price match, dont know if its 110% or not but they will pricematch it. If its an instore price.

if ATI does drop the prices soon then they are morons, once the 9800 comes out the 9700 should be thier best seller, unless they keep the price where it's at

First you state that if they do drop the price they're morons. Then, if they do drop the price 9700 should be their best seller.
Is there something wrong with the 9700 being their best seller?

Bestbuy now has it listed as $299.99 and its not a price slash as in its going to go back up. Maybe this is going to be the new price point ? CompUSA still wants $399.99

Where do we think the 9700 Pro AIW will end up? It's currently sitting at $449 at BB, so my guess is that it will land at $349 when the 9800 Pro comes out.
