C Chan Member Joined Aug 8, 2002 May 8, 2003 #1 Hey guys, my mobo has two memory ratios 3:4 and 1:1. I was looking at the new mobos and they have these 5:4, 3:2, and what not....what are the differences? I plan on getting one of those fancy new Abit IC7s and P4 2.4C and memory ratios came up.

Zeus Registered Joined Nov 16, 2001 May 8, 2003 #2 the ratio is fsb:mem 3:4 = say 100:133 1:1 = say 100:100 5:4 = say 100:125 3:2 = say 100:66 basically just divide the fsb by the ratio for the fsb, then multiply it by the mem ratio to get the ram speed.
