Hey guys, my mobo has two memory ratios 3:4 and 1:1.

I was looking at the new mobos and they have these 5:4, 3:2, and what not....what are the differences?

I plan on getting one of those fancy new Abit IC7s and P4 2.4C and memory ratios came up.

the ratio is fsb:mem

3:4 = say 100:133
1:1 = say 100:100
5:4 = say 100:125
3:2 = say 100:66

basically just divide the fsb by the ratio for the fsb, then multiply it by the mem ratio to get the ram speed.
