I have been playing around with Red Hat 9 for a few days now. I want to set up a little intranet, so I can have a personalized hope page with links to the internet along with files I want to share around the other computers in the house. I have samba up and running, but that is not exactly what I am looking for. What I really want to to is have a domain name for the server instead of having to type in the IP address. Can someone point me in a direction where I can find some instructions on how to set this up. TIA

if you want this to be internal, you want to run bind, for DNS name resolution. and apache for your web server. it would be easy to set up.
If you are still interested, let me know and I will help you all I can.
