I just bought one of those Gigabyte 7NNXP mobos along with one gigabyte of PC3200 RAM. I used my "old" 2200+ XP from one of my EPOX boards. Wow, what a difference!! On the EPOX board, a typical work unit took about 3.5 hours to complete. On the new board with the DDR RAM, the time has been trimmed by about 30 minutes per WU. Tim (TC) said that RAM makes a big difference with SETI...I had no idea how much!

Ram has always made a big difference, I guess mainly because most cpu's made the past few years have relatively small cache sizes.
