Alright ive got a few files downloading from usenet, and my newsreaderis useing almost the entire bandwidth. Is there anyway i can limit the bandwidth that it uses, because its making it hard to browse the web eventhough i have QoS installed and also its not fair that im using the whole available bandwidth when ther are other people on the LAN using the same net connection as me.

:)

see if you can limit it in your news reader?

www.bandwidthcontroller.com can limit your computer's bandwidth, leaving bandwidth for others, but it won't help you for surfing + browsing (as it limits your entire machine)

I'll give that a shot thanks, its more the fact that i dont want to be hogging up all the bandwidth and sloweing everybody else down. My newsreader doesnt have a setting for it but i used one a while ago that did ill try remember witch one it was.
