I just recived my graphic card and got a bit curious.
On the Asus Geforce FX 9950 128mb package it says:

2048x1536 75/75/60hz (8/16/32)

And on the ASUS website it says:

Max rez: 2048x1536 85hz

I wouldnt mind a bit about this if i didnt play at max rez.

I play Anarchy-Online at 1920x1440 32bit rez with my old ti-4600 with not to mutch of a problem, but i would LOVE to play AO at 2048x1536 75hz 32bit with the new FX card.

It have to be a wrong printing on the package, plz tell me they made it possible to play at 75/85 hz max rez 32-bit with the FX card.

/thx

On my ti4400 the card cant do more the 60hz on 2048x1536 and i think thats the limit on VGA right now but im not to sure. If you have a monitor that can do it just test it

My monitor supports 75hz at 2048x1536.

I dont get this, getting tierd.. As other webbsites states that there cards (FX) will support 2048x1536@85hz at 8/16/32.

Asus writes in the manual and on the box, max rez@75/75/60hz
But on there website and even nVidias site says max rez@85hz?

This is crap, i will send this crap card back if it wont live up to its specs.

I meen why say 85hz at max rez if the manual and printing says 75/75/60??

This is from Abits site:

Dual, 400MHz RAMDACs for display resolutions up to and including 2048 x 1536@ 85Hz

And Asus:

Max.Resolution 2048x1536x85Hz

The max res for the FX series is 2048x1536 @75hz 32-bit color. The maximum for the Geforce4 Ti-series is 2048x1536 @75hz 16-bit color. That's what the .pdf's from nvidia say.

Aaaaaaa...

Not fair...

Well anyway, i have put the little FX card into my system and 32bit max rez works at 72hz in my favorite game.
Im now calm and focused as a baby.

All things come to a good end.

the monitor means the most when people get a card that can,, no matter what the card can do, if the monitor doesnt , it wont happen
