hi all

i have a mean well powering my tec .....and on it there is an ajustment + - a screw ......what is this for ?.......what will it do ?

That is to adjust the voltage. It is adjustable from 9v-14v. You can see what voltage you are putting with a multimeter. What i found was my 226 watt TEC ran best at about 13.3v.

mmm interesting so i could get my tec to perform better?

where would i attach the multi metre ? sorry never used one

Multimeter has 2 leads coming out. Set it to read Volts and put the black lead on the -ve terminal and the red on the +ve where the Peltier is usually attached.

thanx i will do that as soon as i can get hold of one ....borowing one off my mate :D

edit just went to local electrics shop and bought one for £2.99
so cheap

well my reading was 11.78v so i turned it up to 13v now

and i think its running cooler in fact im sure normaly hit 21c with everything running im only at 18c :D

thanx everyone :D :D
