Should i get SATA ?

When i buy my new harddisk, should i get sata, if my mobo supports it, its only like 5 bux more

does this gives better performance in windows and in games?

If it's only 5 bucks more, then I don't see why you shouldn't get a SATA if your mobo supports it. Additionally you can still add PATA drives in the future if you wish, so I'd say go for it.
