I went to a pc shop and had packages for custom built pcs and i was wondering if this is a good deal
Athlon 64 3200
Asus K8V Deluxe H8t800 chipset
10/100/1000/ NIC
intigrated digital 6 channel or 6 something sound
6 usb 2.0 ports
512mb pc 3200 DDR
2x SATA Raid controller
6 BB cooling fans
Antec Mid tower with - Antec 420 PSU
$799
No monitor, No Harddrive, or video card or cdrom
 
You could probably build it cheaper from parts from newegg, plus then you have the advantage of knowing exactly what brands your getting and you can choose exactly what you want and tailor it to your needs. I dont know about you but I like to know every comonents brand and specification when I build a rig! :)

Lets see, you have a $250 cpu, a $130 motherboard, a $40 case and $75 ram. I dont think thats a very good deal. www.newegg.com is a great site, very user friendly and a good return service. Btw, most of what you listed are just integrated parts of the motherboard, all you should have listed was this:

A64 3200+
Asus K8V dlx
512mb PC3200
Antec midtower case w/generic psu
