Hi Folks,
the "new" BIOS (TH7HEH) for TH7II-Raid support only CPU multiplier up to 24x.
My new Pentium4 2.6/400 need a multiplier 26x .
Any chance for me to make this cpu workable on my TH7II ?
Thanks 4 Info and Best regards

Hi, Intel CPUs are multiplier locked, so it shouldn't matter what multipliers your bios supports.
You can run P4s with 400MHz bus speed (PC800 Ram fast timings) and 533MHz bus speed (PC800 Ram slow timings), so it should be no problem to run this processor. Only 800Mhz CPUs do not work.
Please correct me someone, if i am wrong. It's a while since I owned a TH7II.

even though the multi is locked, the bios still has to support it for it to be recognized correctly. i have never used a cpu with a multi higher than 24 in my th7II so i dont know what would happen, if anything
