Dgromacs are gone

Anyone notice that the Dgromacs are gone from the Stanford project age?

Just wondering...What is a Dgromac? I have never heard of it, but then again, I'm not a folding expert.

I think he means the Double Gromacs which use SSE2. The use double precision calcs.

I think that one of my rigs just got one a day or two ago. Most of my farm does not have SSE2 so I won't miss them too much. besides, what was this thing with them not always using 100% CPU. Blahhhh....

The "not always 100% cpu" was on the double gromacs debut, now they were running full 100% all the time.

I was really like those Dgromacs 107 points that was taking 12hours for one instance on my p4C HT

Stanford says they'll come in batches.

Good. I hope I get the entire batch. I had two one day and my total was over 700points for that day thanx to the fast turnarounds and good points per WU.

I had one on my PIII and it got out more points that day than it did the entire previous week.

Only my P4 Xeons have SSE2. The other boxen only have SSE.

lucky you .. i've never gotten a single dgromac on my A64 ...

I have a p935_LG2 - 5:15 per wu(68 points) on a 3.1 P4(one of 2 instances), or 2176ppw for just one instance.
