FYI
I recently found a new program running in the system tray
called ATI Device Detection v1.0 after updating my ATI 9700 pro/ TV Wonder Catalyst and MMC drivers. Right clicking and attempting to display the "Help" menu brings up an error:
"Cannot find the C:\Program Files\ATI Multimedia\main\atidtct.HLP
file"
See http://www.videocard-forum.com/ati/missing_atidtcthlp_file_177137.html
for others with the same issue.
My solution was to rename the atidtct.exe file found at C:\program files\ati multimedia\main\
I realize that this just a patch that masks the problem but thought I'd pass it on.
