Always on?

I have a 350W psu, but it has no power switch it relies on the motherboard to tell it to fire up.

My buddy said there are two wires u can splice together from the main mobo plug to make it turn on anything plugged into it soon as plug it in to the wall.

My problem is my watercooling box is external and needs its own PSU to run the fans, but i cant turn it on without a mobo.

It's perfectly safe. Just don't touch whatever you're using to short out the pins.

When short the pins out, just Use some Electricle tape and tape the top to cover the wire so it wont hurt anything.
