Does this hurt?

While I have had my computer apart for about a week now, I just noticed that there were some fingerprints on the side of my SLK947-U. I have tried to remove them with 99percent isopropyl and Qtips, but NO luck. Will this hurt? Thanks.

It won't hurt too much. The fingerprints are insulaters, but most of the heat is in the center anyway. The fins in the center are fine.

use some viniger to wipe off the fingerprint mark, then rewipe it off with (to get rid of the vinigar) with isopropyl. should do the trick..

I have a very big finger print on my SLK900U and I still get great temperatures. I don't think it will affect the temperature too much and it would not really be worth the trouble to clean it off.
