Ok, I just got broadband yesterday. Love it, my first time. Only one problem. I have no idea how to work with the router. I can only do things on port 80! It sucks, I wanted to play games and all. I have a Linksys Cable/DSL Router w/ 4-port switch (model BEFSR41).

If anybody can help me, please please please do, I am desperate.

You should not have to do anything to play games. Have you read the manual?

Did you try resetting the router to factory settings then going in and tweaking the settings in Admin mode?

Got it. Turns out my modem also acts as a router, but the ISP didnt tell me that, so I was busy trying to get one router to work through another
