Hooking up stereo system without pre-outs

The receiver I have only has a pre-out for the sub. What I would like to do is hookup a stereo system that has a built-in amp and uses an rca input. Is this possible to do without pre-outs for all channels? I can hookup the speakers directly to the receiver but I would rather use the amp.

If you look at the specs on most newer amps they have Speaker Level inputs, so you can hook the speaker wires from your head unit into the amp and then to the speakers. I have used a couple Fosgates like that and it works great.
 
Ok, the amp doesn't have that, maybe iI won't use the pre-outs anyway.
