KHX3000 Dual Pack

Do these come in a dual pack? If they do are they bh-5? I'm really looking for a gig of bh-5 for the new rig I'm building, don't have 100 post yet so I can't access the classifieds.

If you can't find BH5 there may be something which will suit you even better. Take a look at the OCZ PC3200 EL plainum Rev. 2

Most of the PC3000 was BH5, but since it's long been gone it's difficult to say if it is BH5 even if you can find some pc3000. You'd be taking a chance.

So, shall we talk a little more KHX PC3000? First of all, since May I have not seen any dual-packs, either 2x256 or 2x512. PC3000 was removed from the product list on Kingston's site right around the end of April. They ran a promo for a while and cleared all their stock. ZipZoomFly still has it, both in the 256 ($81) and the 512 ($114) sticks (see link), but not dual packs, just single sticks.

I have to caution you about the KHX PC3000 512MB sticks and the NF7 (or any nForce2 based board, for that matter). There are numerous reports of people having difficulties getting higher fsb with this combo. The 256 sticks don't seem to have the problem, so it just appears to be the same old issue of double-sided sticks and this chipset, just possibly exagerated somewhat with the PC3000, reasons unknown to me.

There are also reports, that with a serious burn-in (72 hrs or so), this is mitigated or even eliminated altogether.
