motherboard problem

I have a biostar M7NCD pro motherboard. I had to reinstall windows and ever since the USB's never pick anything up. I have tried to reformat and other things but still no luck. Any ideas as to what it could be?

try installing the drivers for the motherboard off of the cd that it came with. also, there is a setting in the bios that enables the usb ports, under advanced settings
