ok i have the one click client thing for dual processors, and i cant get EMIII to work. What do i have to do to get it to work? I tryed browsing, and telling it where the FAH502 file(s) are, and it wont start.

You will have to wait for a portion of the WU to finish before it can give you accurate results.

It stops here. Do i just have to wait a while or is something wrong?

oh i forgot to mention this, when ever i tryed to tell it where the fah500-console.exe thing was it always said it was in the wrong folder or something, but ive double checked, and everything is where it should be. oh i just noticed, mine is called fah502-console.exe is that a problem?

no it really looks like it knows where the console executable is, because it is giving you all the protein information. by the way I am jealous you got a 600 pointer right off! That big unit may take over half an hour a frame to do, so it just might now have any progress to report. try going into the fah log.txt file to see if that protein has been making progress, and emIII is not updating.

well ive tryed everything. it was left on over night, but nothing happened. Im just going to delete every thing, and reinstall it. can someone please post a link to the things i need to make this work? cause i might have gotten a faulty version somehow.

did you get the dually one click from The Ultimate FAH Install Guide? If not grab that one up. Extract to My Documents or something. With Notepad start by editing the client.cfg(s) with your username and any other info you might need to change, click save, double click the .exe to install, open up task manager to see if there are two instances running, there should be something like FAH502-Console.exe (x2) and FahCore_XX.exe (x2) in there. The FahCore_XX.exe's should be both using 50% CPU Usage. If that's all good, extract EMIII to X:\Program Files\EMIII or something, run the EMIII.exe, click options in the upper left hand corner, fill in the CPU Info, Box Name, and the Box Path (which in the case of the dually one click would be X:\Program Files\FAH\FAH1 and FAH2) then click "Add Box" and repeat for FAH 2 and you should be good to go

did you make sure you computer was using all of it's processing power? was it actually working on it all night? could you copy and paste the parts of the log file?

I just tryed again, and it doesent work. I think the problem is that em3 is looking for fah500.. , but mine are fah502... do i have to update it or something?

edit: yeah it was at cpu usage 100% it showed the fahcore78 thing's in taskmanager running at 50% each. heres the log

See that ^^ ? This is NOT am EM3 problem, this is too high of an OC problem. Back down your OC. If you are not oc'd, stop fah and delete all the core files in the fah directory.

well I deleted everything and reinstalled it, and now when i start it it doesent createtany files like work, or the log file  I think that i'll just use the gui version. is their anyway to make use of my hyperthreading with the gui version? oh yeah i clocked my cpu back to stock speeds so i dont think thats was the problem.

there is no way to make use of the hyperthreading on the gui version. however you can always turn off hyperthreading so that it can use all your resources. there is a benefit (<10%) in points when running two simultaneously, though.
