I have a Shuttle AN35N motherboard with a bunch of 80mm fans that are the kind that vary the speeds based on temperature. Is there a way to get those fans to run at FULL speed? Ideally I don't want to open the case. Thanks

The only way you can do that is to do a little sodering on them as the temp sensor is hard wired into the fans.
Unfortunately that means opening the case.

most temp sensing fans I've seen have a little blue sensor sticking out of the hub on two wire legs.

wrap a thin bare wire around (both) the legs tightly, maybe tie it off a bit, and you're good to go.

That shorts out the temp sensor so it's not reducing fan speed at all.

Easy to undo if the fan turns out to be too loud.
