i've got a friend who is joining the forums, and he's running a beowulf cluster based on (i think) redhat 6.2. he's trying to run F@H on the cluster. will it run F@H just for 1 instance? or 1 instance per cpu in the cluster?

Instance per CPU, or 2 if he has HT machines. FAH can not be split up and crunched by a cluster. It also makes no difference, as speed is not that important to the project. The points would be the same either way you did it, provided you could do it another way.
