HELSINKI (Reuters) - Broadband Internet access via TV cables will be able to hit 100 megabits per second as early as next year, 50 times faster than the average broadband speeds now offered to cable TV homes, a Finnish firm said Wednesday.

looks promising but for now i'm going to "put my money" behind verizon and their FiOS service as the soeeds they offer are solely for internet and offer multiple incredible packages for pretty good deals....now if i could only get fios in my area...

Fiber isn't in most places. If we has it here I'd have it. Version has no plans to bring it here either. Oh well 100/mps is kick ***!
