Like the title says, as per ls7corvete's request. How much did you spend on your water cooling setup?

$125ish
link in my sig to parts....got HC for free, fans cheap, water and anti-freeze free, blocks very cheap, and tubing free!

It would be better as "How much have you spent so far?"
It doesnt stop, it's an addiction.
Original: $270
Revision 1: $320

Edit: I voted with $300+ as revision 1 is nearly a whole new system. Storm G4, Weapon Monster core, Iwaki pump (in negotiations), and new tubing. The only thing left over is the Maze 4 GPU.

Pls vote how much you "plan" on spending. I understand upgrades, I rebuilt recently(see front page) so I understand that ;)

I voted with my "new" system price.

I would not mind votes from people who are seriously working on a system.

Thanks eoboard

Let's see...

Swifty 6002
MCW20
Maze4 GPU
2x Chevette Cores
4x Sanyo Denki 120mm's
Some shrouds
Mag 3
Tubing, Clamps, a box I'm building...at least $250+.

Wow great poll, I've always wondered how much everyone else is spending.

I myself don't WC, but last time I made what I'll call an alpha parts list, it came to around 300 bucks (NOTE: I didn't vote since I don't WC)

Right now, I have kept that 300 figure in my head, and that number is WAY to high for me.

Anyway, I think I'll try making a new alpha parts list, and see how much I come to.

My current main system is:

Storm G5,
NV-68,
Iwaki MD-20RZ,
BIX III,
Tygon 7/16" ID, 11/16 OD,
and a custom reservoir.

Currently planned upgrades include the BIX III being replaced with a Thermochill 120.3 and two of the new 40mm shrouds--I have the 120.3, but Danger Den just listed the shrouds today (yesterday?--I ordered them this weekend, but forgot when :) ) so I probably won't have them until later in the week. And, I'm working on a new reservoir design so that'll get changed in the next few weeks as well.

I didn't put prices on the list, but nothing on it is under $100 except the reservoir and I'm sure I "wasted" at least $100 worth of acrylic in practicing and making prototypes, and the cost of the actual Tygon used (the box was $155, but I don't think I used more than $20 worth in the actual build).

Ah, almost forgot: fans. I've currently got 3 Delta EFB1212HHEs (high speed, tri-blade) on the BIX III but I'll be using 6 Sanyo Denki 109R1212H1011s on the the Thermochill.

what in da hell do you need 100ft of tubing for!?

DD RBX and Maze 4 chipset, fittings and tubings, Danner Mag 5, DD res, 2x120 heatercore, fans, and shroud, and a fan controller. It cost me between 350-400 dollars

170$ with shipping to Israel and now its sitting in a cardboard box, I'm too afraid to use it as I can't afford a new parts if I screw up. Also with my stupidity I drilled trough the HC making it useless...
