Just a quick question. I just built a new computer and over the past weeks have been constantly tweaking, changing and benchmarking it. However, it seems as if my windows load times and other simple tasks are slowing down. Benchmarks (Sandra, pcmark, superpi ect.) show my cpu and ram performing great, but I am wondering if now that i found a overclock I like should I reformat my hdd and re-install windows? I have derfagged it several times and cleaned the registry ect. but windows just seems to be a little slow. Any ideas? Thanks.

Sorry- here are specs-

Asus a8n sli deluxe - bios 1015
athlon 3700 san diego @2750mhz 250x11
1gb corsair xms twinx 3200 @ 2-3-3-6 200mhz
wd 74gig raptor
xfx 6800gt
antec neopower 480
thermalright xp-90
windows xp home ed.

What's frustrating me is my new windows install is taking almost 3 times as long to load as my old install. I don't know what's up.

I'll probably do another windows install.
