I'm looking at the black friday adds and I see a 6200 and a X700 AGP on sale for $100. I was wondering which one is a better replacement for my 9550?

X700 would be better for just over 100 bucks, but you can throw in a little extra and get X700 Pro or 6600GT instead for ~120-140.

the x700 is a much better card if they are the same price, if you can find a 6200 for $50 id take a look at that, or if you are willing to spend more money get a 6600 gt for like 130.

Well I've been looking at the egg and it sees that I can get a 6600 that is better than the X700 for just a little over $100 with no rebates. So I think I'll wait.

I would get a 6600gt agp used for $100-$120ish. That's how much they've been selling for in classifieds and other forums.

"This graphics card not only supports HDTV and 3D gaming, it features its own processor to improve overall system performance."

What when did we go to 3D gaming? I thought 2D was still the new thing.

And a processor on the card? Since when? Maybe this new 3D thing need this added Processor:shrug:

When I read the original post I was under the impression that you said 6200 non GT.

For 100 bucks that is a good deal for a 6200gt, I would prefer it over the x700

6200gt?? I never heard of that card before... Just checked froogle and it came up with nothing.

A 6600 Gt from what I have seen out performs the X700Pro slightly The decision would be in between the 6600GT and the X700Pro the 6200 does not compete with the X700 or the 6600GT.
