Again, it depends on what is the issue hindering the overclock. It is possible that having PAT disabled will allow for a higher FSB if the northbridge/memory are being strained by having it enabled.
You also must make certain, when determining whether to disable PAT or not, if the CPU just simply will not go any higher in clock speed and is at its ceiling.
In the grand scheme of things, PAT is one small part that may or may not be blocking a higher overclock. Same goes for memory timings, voltages, etc. It's all to be tested under the environment in which the overclock is taking place.
