A8N-SLI Question

Ok, this may sound like a stupid question, but can you run only one video card on an SLI mobo? I cant afford two vid cards right now, but plan to in the near future. So I am asking will one 7800 GT run without problems on this board?

I am doing it. You have to use the top most slot for a single card.

Yeah you can.. You only can use the top most slot?
For some reason I don't remember that. Lol.
Never trusted manuals. They told me to plug the monitor in on the second slot. [i read this after i finish building] on the lower GFX card. apparently SLI works fine on the top one.
