Found a CAB2E 0546FPMW so I grabbed it. What can I expect for this chip?
I have been reading that I could get up to 3.0ghz. I have a 1 gig (2 x 512) OCZ pc3500 EL Gold (not GX) kit that I can get up to 239 at 2.8v on a k8n Neo (547) before it goes south. I think its the limit is the board. I can't get it any higher even with setting the multi from 11 to 10 and uping the vcore to 1.60/5. Boots to windows but temp spikes to 125+ F and evenally reboots.
I will be using an Ultra-D or SLI. Is the DFI SLI worth the difference? I don't need dual video. Maybe sata2 in future but not raid.
