I just got in a Radeon 8500LE and some Ram for my socket A setup and I wanted to test it outside of a case (don't have a spare at the moment) and I need a way to power it on without a case power button. My DFI Ultra-D has an amazingly convenient little power button on the board itself, but the NF7-S isn't quite as convenient. I was thinking maybe I could jumper the connection where you plug in the power switch. I don't think I can power on via LAN, but maybe someone else knows better.

Yes, just take a paper clip, screwdriver, fork, spoon, knife, ..., and touch the two pins.

Just for clarification, you only need to connect the pins momentarily. Your power switch on your case is a momentary switch, and that is all you need when connecting the pins as well.

yeah this worked out perfectly using a regular jumper I grabbed out of my misc. box of PC stuff. I set up the BIOS so that I can just boot up using a keyboard key :D I was happy to see that the vid card and ram worked flawlessly so I'll have a new folder up in about a month or so. I know you guys can appreciate that.

lol...be very careful not to cross multiple circuits...did this once to a school computer, sparks fly everywhere, computer wont post for 15 minutes, then it actually booted like it was suppose to (didnt before?)
