Hello im building a new setup and have everything except the memory. I purchased a pair of 2gig giel value from zipzoomfly put they are out on back order. They have the corsair XMS 2gig kits in stock. I was thinking of going to those instead. Here is the link to the setup already.

or

vs. this

i know corsair is one of the best rams out there but i heard so much about the giel. Im lost between the to. What do you guys think?

im no expert, but geil vs corsair, corsair definitely
coupled with the fact that the geil is value ram, i would get the corsair XMS
especially if price is not a big problem

you may already know these
but I just want to tell you, buying a value ram really isnt worth it

i have a value ram, and i wish i waited longer and saved a bit more for a better memory... now im stuck with it

Unless the $40 price difference is a major issue go with the Corsair. Better timings at stock and it probably oc's better as well.

Thought so. its just that i read all the reviews on eww egg when they had the giel value ram on there site and everybody ranted and raved about it so i thought it might be worth it. but i always liked kingston and corsair. so corsair xms it is.:attn:
