I'm Getting a 8500 on friday and was wondering what temps you guys are getting if you happen to have a digitaldoc or similiar.
And I know this is pressing it, but how are you measuring the temps? Probe on back of card, countersunk channel in GPU heatsink touching GPU, probe touching GPU or even *probe drilled in 3rd party aftermarket IU heatsink method.
I remember when I had a Radeon 64vivo it was extremely cool compared to the Nvidea temps.
Anyway Appreciate the info...
*remember always fill the hole with arctic silver adhesive.
