8800GTS or GTX driver other than 97.02?

is there a 8800 series driver other than the 97.** on the nvidia website?

I actually use 96.89 and GTS is supported

got some issues with 97.02 playing games like gothic 3 ( corrupted colours, artifacts )

why do you wanna change so ?

cant play splinter cell double agent because it crashes the game.

try 96.97. its beta, but theres nothing else available.

This is a known issue with all 8800-series cards and the current drivers.

Also, I guess you're using Ntune to OC your GPU? Coolbits doesn't work right according to some w/ these cards.

Use NvTray instead of CP. You will need NET FrameWork 2.0

yup so far its the only supported overclocking utility that i know of..

as for nvtray i havent tried that with the 8800 yet.
