You have to keep in mind that things don't cost the same here as in Europe. With the exchange it might cost $559.46, but it will definitely be cheaper here as well. Take for instance, I found an Asus 8800gtx going for 4270,00Kr over there, which is much more than you'd find it here.

Edit: I couldn't find a conversion for danish valuta, but using your numbers (for the HD X2900XT) 4270,00Kr comes to about $780.17 for that GTX. The actual price from newegg for the asus 8800gtx is $570.

That is true... for example.. a Asus EN8800GTS 640 is 399USD on newegg.. that should be 2189kr bit its not.
its 3102kr and that is 566.77USD
and 1USD is 5.47DKK

and thats around 30% more expensive in dk :S

and that also states that its in the pricerange ofthe 640GTS card. and thats good

I've seen them for around 370 Euros, which is usually the price that you pay in dollars in the US. I'd expect it to be around $350.
