true, but his is fully loaded..and he got a nice sum off
i went a little lower, with a grand total of $1400 shipped
only difference is i have a 120gb 5400rpm HD + the 2ghz t7300 chip
otherwise the specs are exactly the same

after having just about every brand of notebook.

I have realized lenovo makes the best, hands down.

Not for gaming, but for EVERYTHING else.

if you believe you got a good deal, thats all that counts!

I definetely know that dell marks up all their high end products, I think that goes for their computers and lcd's. But in the end I think I got an OK price. I believe I should have North American support too since it's a XPS which counts for something over the other lines(other then items purchased from Small Business which I think also get NA support). Although the Insprion 1420 and 1520's are quite nice, I decided to splurge.

how did you guys buy these so cheap? I am in the market for a Dell M1330 or a Sony TZ. The only way I'll buy the Dell is if I can get a huge discount because it's almost the price of the TZ.

i was thinking of ordering one, but its to small, i needed atleast 1920x1200, and a 8600 gt

by spending wayyyy tooo much time on it

This works, ask any salesman. Eventually if the customer keeps trying, they can get a great deal on anything by just wearing you down

"at least" ? Goodluck finding that LOL. Look at a 17" Screen if you want that type of resolution.
