Just moved into a house and here is what is going on, any help would be appreciated.

1. Cable internet installed, internet works when ethernet is plugged directly into the computer from the modem
2. Plugged in wireless router, everything plugged in correctly. We can pick up the signal, but it will not allow us to connect to the internet, even though we have a good signal.

What do we do, I tried setting up the router and stuff, and can not figure anything out that works....

What is the process to get this to work

reset the router from the back or front using a reset button.
unplug power from router and cable modem.
wait 1 min.
power up the cable modem and let it connect to the ISP.
wait 1min
power up the router.
now open a web browser and your router will go through set up process with you.
compleat the setup process.

now you'll have internet.
