Corsair Dominator 1066 2x2 gig 2x1gig

Good Day All,
Ive been having some issues regarding my memory. i have 2x2gig and 2x1gig..when i do memtest on just the 2x2gig i go error free for hours...once i put in the 2x1gig it get numerous errors..The 2x1 gig just came back from RMA. I have my ram set to factory specs of 55515 and 2.1 the 2x1 and 2x2 all have the same timings and voltages...When I run memtest on just the 2x1 i also get errors..Corsair guy please chime in..Im unsure if i need another rma..Thanks in advance

What else is there to say? You tested it...its failing...RMA it again

Complications...

ARe there complications using 2x2 gig and 2x1 gig with all timings and voltage set the same..some say the 2x1 run@ 2.2 whereas the 2x2 run@ 2.1..help please

if its all the same ram then running the same timmings and volts should be no problem. if not then you need to make sure they all run near the same timmings and volts or that could be your problem. only problems i can forsee is the nb works harder the more slots you use. good luck and let us know how it goes.

Corsair uses different ICs in it's 2x1 and 2x2 sticks. Powerchips (PSC) only need 1.9v
