Hello Everyone,

I am pretty new to oc-ing but i am really beginnin to like it after 10 hours of fondling around and more hours of reading. I have the following stuff ( sorry if i write things down like a n00b ):

I did the following stuff after reading a lot of stuff and i am curious if u can shed a little more light on whetever i can get more out of my cpu and gpu.

First the short part ( normally my last step in oc ): With Rivatuner i changed the core-clock to 495 and the Memoryclock to 1295 ( default 430 and 1200 ). If i go over 500 / 1300 i start getting artifacts so i don't know if i can push it further by changing stuff ( for instance by changing my cpu oc ). Also i read an article about the 7800GTX about the 40 MHz differential but with Rivatuner i can only change my high performance 3d, does this mean that this is the top of the secundary clock ( my first thought ) ?

CPU OC:

One question that searched for a lot but couldn't find the answer for: Why isn't PCIE Clockspeed never mensioned and what does it do ? ( it's in my Bios ).

In topics i allways see people talking about memmorylatency but in my bios the only thing i can change is the voltage but nothing else: is there another way to change that ?

I oc-ed my CPU to 2700 MHz by upping the clockspeed to 225 and the multiplier to 12. I first tried to lower my multiplier and boost up my clockspeed ( as is written in all the guides ) but everytime i go past 225 my computer doesnt boot properly no mather which multiplier i use ( sometimes not even past the openingscreen before u go in bios and sometimes it freezes just before OS-selector ). I tried to up the voltage to 1.45 but that also didnt help. Does this mean my memmory is giving problems or is 225 just the limmit ? With my multiplier set to 12 i get 2700 MHz stable ( even with 1.3 V ).
On 3d-mark 06 ( demoversion ) i get scores ( with my CPU and GPU set like above ) round 4300. The framerate on the cputest is between 0 and 1 fps so that's low.

I tried to put up my CPUZ printscreens but as i said i am a n00b so i copy/pasted it below ( hope i don't get rocks thrown at me now ;) )

I hope somebody has the time to shed a little light on a n00b ;)
