Windows 7 Issue w/ Laptop

Just installed Windows 7 32bit on the laptop last night and just ran into an interesting problem. When the computer is on battery, the screen blows to EXTREMLY high contrast to the point that you cant even read text. But as soon as it is plugged in again, the screen reverts back to normal.

Thought? Bad driver?

When I had 7 installed there was an option to have it adjust contrast in the power settings. I'd take a look at the advanced power settings and try disabling or adjusting that setting.
