Better Timings than on the Box?!

Ok, So I bought this RAM from G.Skill and The EVGA o/c utility has it clocked to 8-8-8-24, is this right? Rated on the box is 9-9-9-24. Now I'm not complaining but I was wondering if the utility could be reading this wrong. Should i just be happy?! lol

I assume the four primary RAM timings are set to AUTO in the BIOS? Download and run CPU-Tweaker to view all of your current timings (includng sub-timings)...

yea, that can happen, and you could be happy, or you could play with your timing even more... for example I have 4(2x2) GB ddr2 667 5-5-5-15 running at 832 5-5-5-5 and I havent had any problems.

I love it when people say things cant be done, like overclocking laptops, especally oem (acer, hp, ibm, dell, ect) lol

My Gskill managed stock at 8-8-8-20 fine, but is now running at 140mhz higher and didn't bother tightening them again. It is fine as it is for the moment as triple channel easily overcomes bandwidth limitations.
