Hi guys, first time posting..So hello! Everyone here seems very friendly and helpful from the lurking ive been doing here.

Im going to upgrade my computer in the next few days, ill start by telling you what im going to buy.

Rampage extreme 2

3gig ddr3 dominator GT 2000mhz

i7 950

Armor+ mx thermaltake case http://www.thermaltake.com.au/Products/Chassis/VH8000BWS/ArmorMX.aspx

Im also going to SLI a GTX 280 with my current GTX 280, and of coarse upgrade my PSU to 1000w or w/e watt is required to run them both.

Okay now that we have that out the way, im looking to WC my PC. Ive never done it before and every thread ive read people have said "research at least a week before you tamper with water cooling!" Well, ive researched a week but ive faced the fact that im pretty much retarded and need to be baby fed answers.

Okay heres my question.

Whats the best WC kit for the armor+ mx? I know the bigwater goes well, but to many people have said its crap for me to buy it. Id like my case to look clean and not cluttered, but i wouldnt mind having stuff on the outside. Price isnt really a problem. Also, is it worth adding WC to my two GPU's? Im going to be OCing the crap out of my PC when I get it BTW, but is it necessary to add WC to GPU's or will a good air flow be enough? I just dont want the water getting hot from the GPU's and transferring the heat to my CPU.

Thanks in advance.

Most water cooling kits are for the birds. You should just select the components you want to use and build a loop yourself. I've had great luck with swiftech products. Jab tech and petra's are good places to start. You can get an external mount or rad box for your rad if you want to do it outside of the case. GPU blocks can be a bit pricey and may not be necesary if you are not oc'ing your gpu's, but if you do you can try to cop an extra pump and rad to set them up on a seperate loop also. I'm not sure there is a "best" kit specific to each case as i think most loops will work in any case. Keep reading the stickies too. I had never done a wc'ing setup until my present one and the stickies and posts here made it easy. oh and:welcome:

I bought the swiftech h220-220 apex when it was at newegg for 200. It came with a decent 2x120mm radiator and everything else needed for a 1st time watercooler. If I were to do it all over again, I wouldn't buy a kit, I would piece together my own from the knowledge I've gained from this forum.

If you dont feel comfortable piecing together your kit, then these aren't bad choices from petras:

Cheap+basic kit ----> http://www.petrastechshop.com/pecoba.html
Much worth the extra $70 ----> http://www.petrastechshop.com/pecoel.html
Same as mine w/ slightly different block ----> http://www.petrastechshop.com/swh2apullico.html
