i have the same issue with my storm scout, only solutino i could think of was some sort of extension cables...must exist somewhere

you can make your own, buy the connectors and some stock wire, or hack up an old PSU

You could simply get a 4 pin extension cable like Jolly linked to. I had to get one myself so I could my PCP&C's short 4 pin wire behind my tray, so I know how you feel. Works great for me man, and at only $5, you can't go wrong!

i'm about to get some cable extensions for my PSU as well, i'm about to do some dremel work as well 
need a 4-pin CPU extension and 24-pin ATX extension just like you.
