Green top Paliminos?

Ok, this is a new one on me, I just got a XP1500+ retail from newegg.com that im putting in a system im building. Strange thing, its an organic case CPU but its got a green layer on the top and bottom making the whole chip green, aside from that its like any other Pally...Its an AGKGA "9" week 50 2001 chip...im really not sure what the deal is with the green coating though...very odd...you can see the brownish organic layer in between the layers of green which are really thin, maybe they figured green was just more asthetically pleasing and it looks more like a *ntel that way...
