I have a thermalright v2 and a thermalright vrm-r4. Will the v2 allow good overclocking and cooling on a 5870 or should i use something better? Also have a couple 80mm deltas on order for these coolers. The deltas are 2400rpm with 80mmx15mm dimensions.

It might, but you'd definitely need a high-power (and high-noise) fan on it.

i guess you could...but i'd go for something large for sure. what about an HR-03?
that + a high powered Delta fan in your first post will = win.
it should be a better option than the V2 i reckon.
there's no limitation as to what the V2 can be used on...but i'd only use it for lower power cards, maybe say a 5770 or something?
