OCZ modxstream 700w with 2 gts250's no power

CAN SOMEONE DELETE THIS THREAD PLEASE

Installed a second card and we get no power One card is a bfg gts250 1gb with one 6pin plug, the second card is as galaxy gts250 512mb with e 6pin plugs. The power supply has 2 12v rails @ 25a, both cards say they use 24a. Why does 1 card have 1 plug but the other has 2 plugs?


Any help is appreciated.

Different manufacturers design different cards/pcbs/power requirements. Possibly the one card with the 2x 6pin plugs has a higher power draw than the single 6pin card. Thus is why it fails to post when both are installed.

Have you tried each card separately?

Won't post with new card alone. Both cards have same power draw. I'm puzzled

Seems to me the new card is defective.
